When this annex applies
Under Terms §20.3(d), this annex is required before deploying the HR Screener AI Employee in any use case classified as a “high-risk AI system” under Annex III, §4 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, specifically: systems used for recruitment or selection of natural persons, or for evaluation and assessment of persons in employment relationships, where those systems take or materially determine a hire, reject, promote, or discipline decision.
The HR Screener is designed as a scorecard-generation tool. Hiring decisions must remain with a human reviewer on your team. Deploying the HR Screener without meaningful human review of each individual outcome brings the deployment within the high-risk classification and requires execution of this annex.
