Getting Started
How does the ewpire partner program work?
Sign up, complete Stripe Connect Express KYC, get a unique referral link, and share it. When someone clicks your link and becomes a paying customer, you earn 20% of their first-month payment — up to $299.80 on a Business plan.
Who can join?
Anyone over 18 with a Stripe Connect-supported country, a public audience (blog, newsletter, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, podcast), and no affiliation with sanctioned entities. Program is unavailable in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Syria; applicants from Russia, Belarus, Venezuela, Myanmar and other sanction-adjacent countries go through manual review.
How long does approval take?
Most applications clear Stripe Connect KYC and our review within 24-48 hours. Manual-review countries can take up to 7 business days.
Do I need a large following to qualify?
No minimum. We work with micro-influencers as well as larger creators. What matters is audience fit — SMB operators, agency owners, solopreneurs, consultants, and ops leaders are our ideal customers.

How much do I earn per referral?
20% of the referred customer's charge. Monthly plans: $39.80 on Starter ($199/mo), $99.80 on Pro ($499/mo), $299.80 on Business ($1,499/mo) — paid once. Annual plans: $398 / $998 / $2,998 total — paid as 12 equal monthly instalments over the customer's active annual term.
Monthly vs annual — how does the commission actually work?
Monthly plan referrals pay a single lump-sum commission (20% of first month) around day 30. Annual plan referrals pay monthly recurring commissions for the 12 months the customer stays subscribed — e.g. Pro Annual $4,990 → $998 total → ~$83.17/month × 12. This matches our revenue recognition and protects you from clawback if the customer cancels mid-year.
When do I get paid?
Monthly referrals: one payout around day 30 of the customer's subscription. Annual referrals: 12 monthly payouts starting day 30, continuing for every month the customer stays subscribed. We hold the initial 30 days to cover our 14-day money-back guarantee plus a chargeback buffer.
What's the minimum payout?
$50 USD. Balances below $50 roll forward until you cross the threshold; payout then fires automatically on the next cycle.

In your partner dashboard at ewpire.com/refer/dashboard — total clicks, conversion rate, per-referral attribution, pending/paid/clawed-back balances, and a direct link to your Stripe Connect dashboard for payout details.
Stripe & Fees
How do I actually receive the money?
Through Stripe Connect Express, set up during signup. Stripe holds your connected account and pays out to your bank or debit card on your chosen schedule (daily, weekly, or monthly).
What fees come out of my payout?
ewpire transfers you the gross 20%. Any Stripe-side fees are deducted by Stripe from your side, not reimbursed by us. Standard payouts to US, UK, and EU bank accounts typically incur no additional Stripe fees. Other fees that may apply: FX conversion (~1% if your bank account is in a different currency than USD), cross-border payout (0.25-1% for some non-US/EU/UK jurisdictions), instant payout (~1.5% if you opt in). Your Stripe Connect dashboard shows exact deductions on each payout.
Is the commission paid in USD?
Yes. All commissions are transferred in USD via Stripe Connect. If your Stripe account is configured to receive in EUR, GBP, or another currency, Stripe converts at their published rate at payout time. See full FX treatment in §4 of the Referral Terms.
Refunds & Claw-backs
What happens if my monthly-plan referral gets a refund?
If the refund happens within 14 days (money-back guarantee), the commission is voided — no payout. Refunds after day 14 on monthly plans don't affect you — the first-month commission was earned on the charge date and stays with you.
What if my annual-plan customer cancels mid-year?
Annual commissions are paid as 12 monthly instalments. If the customer cancels mid-year: (1) past instalments you received are kept — no clawback. (2) All future scheduled instalments are cancelled immediately. Your commission stream simply stops. Example: Pro Annual referred, customer cancels after 3 months → you already received 3 × $83.17 = $249.50, remaining 9 months × $83.17 are cancelled. Your net: $249.50, no negative balance.
What about the 14-day full refund on annual plans?
A full refund within the 14-day money-back window voids the entire commission. If any monthly instalments were already paid (unlikely given 30-day first payout), they're clawed back from future commissions. After day 14, annual cancellation triggers the earned-discount refund — you keep past instalments, future cancelled.
How long is the claw-back window?
180 days from the customer's first charge. After that, the commission is final. This only applies to the specific scenarios above (14-day full refund, chargeback, dispute) — not to normal annual cancellations where you simply stop receiving future instalments.
Do trial conversions count?
Yes. The 3-day Starter trial has to convert to a paid charge before your clock starts. Commission attaches to the first successful charge, not to the trial signup.
Taxes & Compliance
What tax forms will I need to submit?
Stripe Connect collects them during KYC — W-9 if you're in the US, W-8BEN (individuals) or W-8BEN-E (entities) if you're outside the US. You don't send anything to ewpire directly.
Am I responsible for taxes on my commissions?
Yes. Commissions are paid gross. You're responsible for income tax, self-employment tax, VAT/GST registration (where applicable), and any withholding in your country. ewpire does not withhold or remit taxes on your behalf.
Do I have to disclose that I'm a partner?
Yes, it's legally required and a program rule. Any post, tweet, video, newsletter, or email that includes your referral link must include a clear disclosure ("#ad", "affiliate link", or "I earn a commission if you sign up"). FTC penalties reach $51,744 per violation in 2026. Non-disclosure = instant program termination and commission forfeiture.

Self-referrals, paid search on our brand terms ("ewpire", "ewpire.com"), coupon/deal sites, incentivized clicks (cashback, rebate sites), misleading claims about our AI agents, spam, and bot traffic. Cloudflare bot detection runs on all clicks — fraud attempts mean zero payout and a ban.
